Small Business Funding to help get your business up and running!
The expanded Business Support Fund providing more than 80,000 eligible businesses with a new $5,000 grant to support them through the renewed restrictions. This grant was previously made available to the 12 postcodes linked to outbreaks. It will now apply to all areas under Stage 3 restrictions.
The VIC government has created the Business Support Fund – Expansion to help leverage the costs small businesses need to make to adapt to COVID lockdown and business operations. $5000 can be used to help meet business costs, get legal aid, leverage marketing costs and any other supporting activities related to the operation of the business. This includes the purchase of protective equipment and guards to protect employees and customers.
Applications will open on the VIC business website until 19 August 2020.
